| Hello internet!

I have been debating for quite a while to start my very own blog and… here I am! Dont really know how all of this works yet so… bear with me please? I’ve always been attracted to this world where people share their life on the internet, whether it be on a blog or youtube, but I’ve always restrained myself from doing it. I guess it’s just because of fear, I’m not going to lie, I was very self-conscious about what people were gonna think of this but I decided to just give it a shot.

My name is Emma, I am 19 years old and I come from Italy. I am currently living in the UK, in Brighton, and loving it! This year nothing too interesting is happening buuuut I will be moving soon to Madrid for a year, how exciting! My biggest passions are learning new languages (I currently speak 4 and learning a 5th one), cooking (don’t know if I’m any good at it but whatever) and petting dogs (yes, I am a crazy dog lady). I also love makeup, shopping and taking photos. You know, just your average teenage girl.

I decided to call my blog “un coin de paix” which translates to “a corner of peace” because… well, it’s pretty self-explanatory. I just wanted my own little place where I can write whatever I feel like.

I literally have no idea what I’m going to write in here though, I’m definitely not like a professional at makeup or a photographer or anything, I really just want to have fun with this blog and I might one day post my photos or share my enthusiasm for makeup, who knows!

As a university student I might even write about some tips to make your life a bit easier so maybe like easy and quick recipes I like to do, stuff like that. University already takes up a lot of time, the best thing one could do is to make the other aspects of life a little bit less time-consuming and simpler! I also thought it might be nice to share my experiences when living abroad and my Erasmus experience too. Two years ago I felt completely lost as I did not know what to expect from living in the UK and going to university, so my experience may help some of you out there (if anyone is reading this hahah) who are just as confused as I was!
